³ As I urged you when I went to Macedonia,^(B) remain in Ephesus^(C) so that you may instruct certain people^(D) not to teach different doctrine ⁴ or to pay attention to myths^(E) and endless genealogies. These promote empty speculations rather than God’s plan,^(F) which operates by faith.
